slave cylinder, hang it aside. 2. Remove oil filter (drain oil first). 3. Remove oil pressure sensor The steps above take less than 10 minutes. I do not remove the starter shields. 4. Remove the wires connected to the starter 5. Loosen the top bolt. Leave it in to support the starter 6. Remove the bottom nut and then the stud. 7. Remove the top bolt.
First time it took me 1/2 day (could not believe it), But I spent too much time trying to remove the shields...waste of time. Now I can replace it in about 40 minutes once the car is raised off the ground.
